Jailtacht is inspiring

It was very inspiring for me as I am at the moment learning Gaeilge and to realise what these men went through to learn it dwarfs any problems that I have studying it. Some would say that the prose is dry and academic, but for me it highlighted what these people went through for the language and their ideals. To make the text 'livlier' would have detracted from their tale.
